Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10588, titled An Act Institutionalizing the Conduct of the Palarong Pambansa and Appropriating Funds Therefor, which promotes physical education and sports to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and excellence and contribute to the development of a healthy and alert citizenry through the institutionalization of the Palarong Pambansa as the country’s premier national sporting event, and in accordance with DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, entitled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education Without Disrupting the Instructional Block, this Office hereby issues the School Year 2026–2027 Schedule of School Sports Activities. Accordingly, all public and private elementary and secondary schools are directed to promote physical education, conduct regular sports activities, and support local meets and the Palarong Pambansa through the implementation of the attached schedule.
