Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 051, s. 2026, titled “2026 National Teachers’ Month, National Teachers’ Day, and World Teachers’ Day Celebrations,” this Office shall conduct the 2026 World Teachers’ Day Celebration on October 2, 2026 at the Carmona Activity Center (formerly CarSiGMA Gymnasium), with the theme “Teacher, Ikaw Muna.” The activity forms part of the observance of World Teachers’ Day, celebrated internationally every October 5 in commemoration of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers.
